NaruHina's Garden Moment

Naruto woke up after a good night's rest, even if he was on the couch.  He looked at the clock on the wall, it was 10:47 AM.  Man, it was one exhausting mission yesterday Naruto thought.  He is in the Hyugga Home because the mission he had destroyed his apartment and it will take weeks to repair.  And since the majority of the household is gone to different long-term missions, Hinata lends Naruto a place to stay.

When he got up, he putted on a white t-shirt and sweat pants and walked out into a beautiful garden in the sunlight.  The garden has such lust green grass, a fine sidewalk, a glorious fountain, nicely trimmed rose bushes (whose roses are in full bloom), a stone bench, and four blooming sakura blossom trees.

It was the most breath-taking sight that Naruto has ever seen.  He never saw this part of the Hyugga House before (then again, he'd never seen more than two or three places in the building).  For once in a long time, he felt more at peace here than anywhere.  He went to the stone bench and sat down, enjoying the sweet aroma of the garden.

After 15 minutes of relaxing, Naruto felt something coming towards him.  He turns his head around and sees Hinata.

"Good morning Naruto, you slept well?" Hinata asked, while sitting right beside him.

Feeling even more relaxed, Naruto turned his head around, smiled, and said "Yeah, I slept like a rock."

For a few seconds Naruto said. "Hey Hinata?"

"Yes Naruto?" Hinata asked.

"The garden here is beautiful."

"Really?  Its MY own garden."

"Your garden?"

"Yeah, when I was a young girl, my mom and I used to tend to this garden.  My mom told me once that gardening relaxes the soul and allows one at one with nature."

Naruto turned around and looked at Hinata.

"You miss her huh?" Naruto said.

"Every day Naruto," Hinata said while snuggling close to Naruto." do you miss your parents?"

Naruto looked at the sky and said "I don't know Hinata, I've never knew my parents."

"Whoah I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to-"

"Its okay, you tend to get used to it when you'll an orphan."

They stayed there for almost half an hour, then Hinata said to him. "Do...do you feel alone at times?"

Naruto looks at Hinata and then looks at the nest of birds on one of the trees, saying. "Yeah, I do feel alone most of the time."

Hinata feels sorry for him.  Shes always been watching hm from a distance, seeing how he tries to get better and better, so he can be Hokage.

"Is..is there someone who cares for you?" Hinata asks Naruto.  She knows people do care about him, but she wanted to be sure that he knows that.

"Yeah, like Granny Tsunade and the other ninjas in the village.  But not that kind of caring I want." Naruto said.

"What do you mean?" Hinata asked.

Naruto is still looking at the nest when he said. "What I mean is someone...someone who I can speak to about my feelings to, someone to comfort and comfort me in return, someone to cherish; you know?"

Hinata was astonished by what she hears from him.  What such a kind soul, theres no one (except herself) to love him like that.

"What about Sakura?  I thought you like her." Hinata said.

Naruto took in a big inhale, then exhale and said. "Yeah, but she loves Sasuake and I respect that."

Hinata can hear dissappointment in his voice and he feels sad for him, not able to have someone to care for him like the way he wants.

Then, with all her courage, Hinata quickly leans on Naruto and wraps her right arm around him and her left hand on his back, rubbing it smoothly.  This shocked Naruto greatly, but then he was reassured when Hinata said. "Then I will care for you like the way you wanted."

Naruto was both happy and confused.  Feeling like that, he asks her. "But why Hinata?  Why will yo-."

"ITS BECAUSE I LOVE YOU, THATS WHY!" she screamed.  She screamed because she was tired of holding it back and hearing Naruto emotionally suffering.

When Naruto heard Hinata's confession, he became even more shocked than when Hinata grabbed him.  A minute later, he sighed and smiled.

"Hinata?" Naruto asked Hinata.

"Yes?" Hinata asked back.

Ca...can you stay like that for a while?"

Hinata smiled and replied. "Yes Naruto, if it makes you happy."

While leaning on Naruto's back, Hinata used her left hand to fix her robes and wraps her left arm around Naruto's waist.  After 38 minutes, Naruto turned around quickly, grabbed Hinata, and kissed her really deeply.  This surprised Hinata very much, but she quickly surrendered to the feeling and returned the kiss.

"I love you Hinata."  Naruto said to Hinata after kissing her.

"I..I love you too, Naruto." Hinata replied.

After saying that, they kissed each other again and went to the house, to have some food.
