=part 2=

"The task that I am going to assign to you to, son of Adam, is dangerous, but you need to do it." Aslan says to Poncho.
Poncho sits down and looks at Aslan as if he was child listening to a fairy tale.
Aslan took a deep breathe and said;

"Years after he was freed from his enchantment and when his father died, King Rilian ruled over Narnia in total peace and harmony, with his wife (who is now deceased) and his daughter, Princess Martha.
Then, a old enemy of Narnia has come to threaten Narnia after all these years; the Calormen.  But, only this time, they carry powers and weapons that no Narnian has ever faced before.  But you know these powers and weapons in your world.
With the Calormen and their great power, Narnia struggles to fight back.  Yet while the efforts of Narnian troops goes in vein, they still hold one.  But they can not hold out the Calormen forever.
So, I need you to go to the main camp of the Calormene troops with the Narnian princess, find whoever is suppling the Calormen with their new power, and save Narnia."

Poncho just lend back made a single, but long whistle.  When he shifted his sitting position, Poncho said to Aslan "Oh, Aslan.  What you are asking for me to do is impossible for me to do, even with someone helping me.  I am more like a very minor sidekick than the main hero.  I mean you could've asked like someone from the military, the Navy, or the Army, or someone like that.  I am just a simple American Cowboy with the love of a simple-life."
Aslan stood up (which made Poncho crouched in fear abit) and said to Poncho "Maybe, but I have seen simple American Cowboys with the love of a simple-life do great things and are great heroes.  Isn't that what your country's known as?  The Land of the Free, Home of the Brave?"
"Yes, but-"
"No buts, son of Adam.  I have given you this assignment and you with the princess will stop the Calormen and save Narnia."
Poncho is still unsure about this, but do you want to upset a lion without any sort of weapon?  Not even a stick?. . . . . . .
NO WAY!!!

Then, Poncho said "Okay Aslan, I'll do it.  But is the princess and I going to be alone on this?  I mean, two might not do much against these Calormen.  So maybe some more individuals in the group would do?"
Aslan just looked at Poncho for a while, with those piercing eyes.
Then, Aslan asked Poncho "Do you see that fossilized bone on your right?"
Poncho looked down on his right and sees his Great-Grandfather's fossilized bone.
"Yes, it is." Poncho said.
Aslan jumped off of the rock and walked up to the bone.  After looking at it, Aslan looked at Poncho and asked "What do you think does this bone belongs to?"
Poncho replied "Well, I think it could either be a sauropod or a stegosaur, but I don't know."
"What do you think, Son of Adam?"
"Well . . . . . maybe of a Stegosaurus."
"Tell me about the stegosaurus"
"It's a bus-sized reptile with plates on it's back, spikes on it's tail, and very mighty.  But has a brain the size of a walnut and has a 'second' brain on it's pelvis.  It's a herbivore and it's supposed to be abit stupid and aggressive."
Aslan sat like a dog sits and asked "Do you believe that it is stupid and aggressive?"
"Well, Aslan, I don't know.  I've never met one before."
"Would you like to see one?"
This caught Poncho completely off-guard and he answers, unsure "Well, yes I suppose."
Aslan just gave Poncho a lion grin and raised his paw and stuck the earth.  This made Poncho fall down to his rump again.
When Poncho got back up, he sees that Aslan made a nice sized hole . . . . with only one strike of his paw.
"Now," Aslan tells Poncho "place the bone into the hole and cover it with the dirt and grass I dug up."
Poncho was about to protest this, but he doesn't want to argue to him.  So he did exactly what Aslan told him to do.  He got a little bit of dirt on his hands, but not too bad.
"Now, stand back."
Poncho did just that.  Then Aslan asked Poncho "Have you given the fossil a name?"
Poncho replied "Well, I nicknamed it Behemoth."
"A good and wise name to give to such a item." Aslan said.
Then, Aslan looked at the covered-up hole and said:

"Behemoth, rise up and stand.  For I, Aslan, says so."

Can you imagine a single bubble coming out of a patch of grassland like a bubble from tar?
Well, that's what is happening now.  A HUGE bubble is raising from the exact place where Poncho and Aslan buried the fossilized bone.
Then, as the bubble grew bigger, two rows of plates sticked out of the bubble.
Before Poncho could say anything, the bubble burst and out of it comes a creature that Poncho never thought that he lived to see . . . .

A living, breathing Stegosaurus.
Another part of the Chronicles of Narnia idea of mine.

Got the "bubble" description off of The Magican's Nephew.

One side note: "...The Land of the Free, Home of the Brave?" <- America sucks. =P
(Please don't take me seriously, I am mostly joking on that. D= )

Other than that, keep writing! =)
